 the sister of Nevayos. :³BÞ−ÖëÐò³B'ìÎê  and with men, and you have won.” :ñÞÖ×ezÔîó−£ÌLÖòÎê-ó̼Ðî
 4. Adah bore to Eisov, [his son] Eliphaz, ï¢Öõ−ÌñÍê-³Óêî£ÖNѼÐñí§ÖðÖ¼ðÓñ«ÑzÔî.ð  30. Yaakov asked him, and said, ·þÓôê·ÕiÔîë†ÒšÎ¼ÞÔ−ñ¤ÔêÐLÌiÔî.ñ
 and Bosmas bore Reueil. :ñÞÑêe¼Ðþ-³Óêí£ÖðÐñÞÖ−³ flÔôÐN¤Öëe  “Please tell me your name.” E flÓôÐLê¤ÖpíÖð−ÞÌbÔí
             He said, “Why then do you ask my name?” −¢ÌôÐLÌññ¤ÔêÐLÌzí£ÓfíÖn'ÖñþÓôê–ÕiÔî

                   He then blessed him [Yaakov] there. :óÞÖLB£³ÒêCÓþ'ÖëÐ −Ôî
 He [Eisov] called her by the name Yehudis  ,³−ÌðeíÐ−dÖôÐLíÖp−Ì× êeíÐî  Sh’lishi (Third Aliyah)  éùéìù
 [meaning Jewess] to indicate that she denies idolatry  ,íÖþÖïíÖðBëμÔa³ÓþÓõB× ê−ÌíÓL,þÔôBñ  31. Yaakov named the place Peniel [God’s Face], ñ¢Ñê−ÌòÐtóB £šÖnÔíó'ÑLë§ÒšÎ¼ÞÔ−ê«ÖþКÌiÔî .êñ
 in order to mislead his father.  :î−ÌëÖê³Óê ³B¼Ð¬ÔíÐñ−ÑðÐk
             “For I have seen God[ly beings] face to face, ó−flÌòÖt-ñÓêó−¤ÌòÖt·ó−ÌíGÍê−̳−¥ÌêÖþ-−ÞÌk
 The daughter of Anoh, daughter of Tzivon.  .ïBòÀáÄöúÇaäÈðÂò-úÇa
 If she was the daughter of Anoh  íÖòμ³ÔaóÌê  and my soul has survived.” :−ÞÌLÐõÔòñ£Ñ®ÖpÌzÔî

 [But the explanation is] Anoh  íÖòμ
 was the son of Tzivon, as it is said:  :þÔôÍêÓpÓL ,öB¼ÐëÌ®ñÓLBòÐa  AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA RASHI  é"ùøAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
 “These are the sons of Tzivon: Ayoh and Anoh,” 188  .íÖòμÔîíÖiÔêÐî öB¼ÐëÌ®−ÑòÐëíÓlÑêÐî  Yaakov refused [to wait]  ,ëҚμÔ−íÖ®ÖþêGÐî
 thus telling us that Tzivon came  öB¼ÐëÌ®êÖaÓLðÑnÔñÐô  and given no choice he had to concede them to him.  ,öÓíÑñμBñíÖðBí BìÐþÖkñÔ¼Ðî
 upon his daughter-in-law, Anoh’s wife,  ,íÖòμ³ÓLÑê B³ÖlÔkñÔ¼  That is meant by what is said:  :eíÓïÐî
 and Ohilovomoh was born as a result of both. 189  ,óÓí−ÑòÐLö−ÑaÌôíÖôÖë−ÌñÏíÖê³êÖ®Ö−Ðî  “He then blessed him there,” 67  ,óÖL B³Bê CÓþÖëÐ−Ôî
 Scripture thereby informs you  ëe³Ö kÔíEμ−ÌðBíÐî  for he pleaded with Yaakov to wait for him  Bñ ö−ÌzÐôÔíÐñöÑpÔìгÌôíÖ−ÖíÓL
 that they were all of illegitimate birth.  :e−Öí ³eþÑïÐôÔô−ÑòÐaöÖlekÓL  but he [Yaakov] did not agree.  :íÖ®ÖþêGÐî
 [3] Bosmas, the daughter of Yishmael.  .ìàÅòÈîÀLÄéúÇaúÇîÀNÈa [â]  And with men.  .íéÄLÈðÂàíÄòÀå
 In another place 190 she is referred to as Machalas.  .³ÔñÎìÔôdÖñêÑþBš öÖlÔíÐñe  [Referring to] Eisov and Lavan.  :öÖëÖñÐîîÖNѼ
 We find in the Aggadah of the Book of Shmuel: 191  :ñÑêeôÐLþÓõѽLÔþÐðÌô³ÔðÖbÔêÐë eò−ÌvÖô
                               And you have won.  .ìÈëezÇå
 There are three whose sins are forgiven:  ,öÓí−ѳBòBμöÓíÖñ ó−ÌñÎìBô ’è  Over them.  :óÓíÖñ
 1) A convert upon converting,  ,þÑiÔèгÌpÓLþÑb
                         [30] Why then do you ask?  .ìÇàÀLÄz䯿äÈnÈì [ì]
 2) one who is elevated to a high position,  ,íÖleðÐèÌñíÓñB¼ÖíÐî
                           We do not have a set name.  ,Ô¼eëÖšóÑL eòÖñö−Ñê
 and 3) when one takes a wife.  ,íÖMÌêêÑNBpÔíÐî
                            Our names keep changing  ,eò−ѳBôÐLó−ÌpÔzÐLÌô
 The source for the latter is derived from here—  öêÔkÌôóÔ¼ÔhÔíðÔôÖñÐî
                         all depending on the command  ³ÔîЮÌô−ÌõÐññÒkÔí
 it is for this reason that she is called Machalas  ,³ÔñÎìÔô³êÑþКÌòCÔ×Ðñ
                      of the mission we are sent to fulfill.  :ó−ÌìÐlÔzÐLÌôeòÖêÓL ³eì−ÌñÐMÔí³ÔðBëμ
 because his [Eisov’s] sins were forgiven [eñÎìÐôÌò]. 192  :î−Ö³BòBμeñÎìÐôÌpÓL

 The sister of Nevayos. 193  .úBéÈáÀð úBçÂà
                      It is an expression that people use:  :êeí óÖðÖê−ÑòÐa öBLÐñ
 Because he [Nevayos] married her off to him [Eisov]  Bñ dÖê−ÌOÌí êeíÓLóÑLñÔ¼
                 “When we reached such-and-such a place  −ÌòBñÐt óBšÖôÐñeòмÔbÌíÓLÐk
 after Yishmael died,  ñêѼÖôÐLÌ−³ÑnÓMÌô
                              the dawn broke for us.”  ,þÔìÔMÔí eòÖñþ−ÌêÑí
 she is called by his name.  :BôÐLñÔ¼³êÑþКÌò
                         That is the simple explanation.  ;B¬eLÐõeíÓï
                    The Midrashic explanation of Bñ ìÔþÐïÌiÔî is  .Bñ ìÔþÐïÌiÔî:íÖðÖbÔêLÔþÐðÌôe
