 Scripture considers it as if he had been with her.  .dÖëÖ×ÐLelÌêÐk ëe³ÖkÔí î−ÖñÖ¼íÓñμÔô  Here, he conceded the blessings to him.  :³B×ÖþÐaÔíñÔ¼BñíÖðBí öêÔk
 But, why did he disturb and profane [Yaakov’s] couch-bed?  .î−Ö¼e®Ð−ñÑlÌìÐîñÑaÐñÌëíÖnÖñÐî

 which was always located in Rachel’s tent  ,ñÑìÖþñÓíÒêÐaþ−ÌðÖ³íÖòe³ÐòíÖ³Ð−ÖíÓL  take my present from my hand,  éÄãÈiÄîéÄúÈçÀðÄîÈzÀçÇ÷ÈìÀå
 and not in the other tents,  ,ó−ÌñÖíÒêþÖêÐLÌëêGÐî
                    because I have seen your face, etc.  .'åâå EéÆðÈôéÄúéÄàÈøïÅk-ìÇòéÄk
 and placed it in Bilhah’s tent. 164  .íÖíÐñÌañÓíÒêÐadÖòÖ³Ðòe
                     [Meaning:] for it is right and proper  ,EÐñ öeèÖíÐî−êÔðÐ×−Ìk
 Reuven, then came, and protested his mother’s humiliation.  ,BnÌê öBaÐñÓ¼¼ÔëÖ³ÐîöÑëeêÐþêÖa
                              for you to accept my gift  ,−̳ÖìÐòÌôñÑaÔšÐzÓL
 He said, “If my mother’s sister was my mother’s co-wife,  ,−ÌnÌêÐñíÖþÖ®íÖ³Ð−Öí−ÌnÌê ³BìÎêóÌê:þÔôÖê
                   as a result of my having seen your face  ,E−ÓòÖõ−̳−ÌêÖþþÓLÎêñÔ¼
 [does that mean that] the handmaiden of my mother’s sister  −ÌnÌê ³BìÎê³ÔìÐõÌL  which is as esteemed to me  −Ìñö−ÌëeLÎìöÑíÐî
 shall [also] be my mother’s co-wife?  ?−ÌnÌêÐñíÖþÖ®êÑíÐz
                          as seeing the face of an angel,  ,CÖêÐñÔnÔí−ÑòÐt³−ÔiÌêÐþÌk
 For this reason he disturbed [the sleeping arrangement].  :ñÑaÐñÌaCÔ×Ðñ
                     for I have seen your guardian angel.  ,CÖlÓLþÔN−̳−ÌêÖþÓL
 The sons of Yaakov were twelve. 165  .øÈNÈòíéÅðÀLáÉ÷ÂòÇé-éÅðÀáeéÀäÄiÇå  And another reason [that you should accept my gift],  ðB¼Ðî

 the “bed” [the destined number of offspring] was complete  ,íÖhÌnÔííÖôÐñÐLÌò
             Why did he [Yaakov] mention seeing the angel?  .CÖêÐñÔnÔí³−ÔiÌêÐþBñþ−ÌkÐïÌííÖnÖñÐî
                       So that he [Eisov] might fear him  epÓô−ÑíêÑþ−Ö−гÌiÓL−ÑðÐk
