for women were carried out on July 26 and 27 , 2019.
Around 500 + women benefited with the services rendered by
Dr Santosh Hazare Gastroenterologists and his team. The
event was successfully carried out under the guidance of Dr
Pree Dodwad, Chief coordinator of the KLE University Cell for Women (KAHER). Vice-President Dr Sujata Jali, Secretary Dr
Sonal Joshi and coordinators Dr Harpreet Kaur and Mrs Shilpa Wali were present at the camp.

Prabhakar Kore Hospital & MRC. Chief Guest Jus ce
Mahadevayya inaugura ng programme said dona ng
blood keeps heart healthy. Also, Dr Praveenkumar Nayak,
Dr M V Jali, MD & CEO, Principal Dr (Mrs) N S
Mahantshe made a statement that Accident, Cancer,
Hemophilia, Thalassemia Pa ents and Pregnant Women
Depend on blood. Dr (Mrs) N S Mahantshe said that
there is no limit for dona ng blood for either male or
female donors. Any healthy persons of age between 18 -
60 years can donate the blood. Healthy male can donate
every three months and healthy female every four months. Dr Praveen Kumar Nayak Group Chief Medical Officer, Aerospace
Industrial Hospital/Orthopaedic Surgeon, also graced the program. Dr R S Mudhol, Dr Ramesh Chavan, Shri. S V Viragi I/c
Diagnos c & Blood Bank, Dr Ashwini Narsannavar were present on occasion.
PHARMACOLOGY CME

Pharmacology CME-2019 was conducted on 11
April, 2019 themed “Dental Pharmacology - The
Pharmacological aspects in Dental prac ce”. It was
jointly organised by the Department of Pharmacology, J
N Medical College, Belagavi and Indian Pharmacological
Society, Local Branch, Belagavi. The func on
inaugurated by the Chief Guest, Dr Alka Kale, KAHER VK
Ins tute of Dental Science, Belagavi, Other dignitaries,
President of Indian Pharmacological Society, Local
Branch, Belagavi, Dr Aruna Bhushan, Dr A P Hogade
Professor and Head, Department of Pharmacology, Dr
Netravathi were also present on occasion. A total of 110
delegates a ended the CME.
