The White Pine of Jogyesa in Insadong (Natural Monument No. 9, approx. 500 years
old) is a historic pine tree renowned for its pale bark and graceful form.
For centuries, it has been cherished as a symbol of longevity and sacred protection.
Standing tall within the grounds of Jogyesa Temple, it is beloved by visitors and
devotees alike. With its distinctive appearance and cultural significance, it is preserved
as an important natural and historical landmark in Seoul.
