7-Human Fibrin Foam

It is used as an absorbable surgical haemostatic agent
it isusually impregnated with human thrombin &
applied locally. Oxidizsd cellulose or gelatin sponges
now being preferred.

Antibodies formed in man:IgG,IgM& IgA. IgO
(previously known as ϒ -globulin or immune serum
globulin ) immunoglobulin i.e. the slowest moving
group of proteins in plasma .Preparations containing
specific amounts of particular antibodies are called
:human immunoglobulin anti-“ followed by the name
of the appropriate antigen(x).

The antibodies in the IgG immunoglobulin are almost
exclusively those against viruses & bacterial toxins.

Antibodies against viruses causing e,g,
measles,rubella,hepatitis ,mumps. &polio ,tetanus &
diphthria antitoxin.

Since human normal immunoglobulin contains little or
no IgM, it does not contain antibodies against Gram-
negative bacteria .

8-Human Normal Immunoglobulin Injection ,BP

IgG immunoglobulin solution is separated from
random pools of plasma .Each pool is derived from not
