5. Fully detailed schedules of plant together with schedules of routine and periodic
maintenance.
6. Schedule of emergency measures and fault finding techniques.
7. Schedule of equipment with Manufacturers reference numbers, names, addresses
and telephone numbers.
8. Specific Manufacturers instruction leaflets and literature for each item of
equipment including lists of standard replacement parts.
9. Schedule of any electrical circuits, etc. and operation.
10. One full set of paper prints of record drawings.
11. Schedule of control sequences, together with wiring diagram and plant
interconnections and internal wiring of equipment.
12. The schedule of commissioning data accepted by the Project Manager as the actual
final settings of plant and mass flow rates, etc.
13. Distribution board schedules.
14. Any test certificates, local authority waivers and approval.
15. Electro Magnetic Compatibility Certificates.
The Project Manager shall comment upon the completed Operating and Maintenance
Manuals. Following inclusion of comments, the Electrical Contractor is to issue the
required number of copies, fully bound, and indexed, with contents individually protected
by plastic sheets for inclusion in the Health & Safety Manual. A minimum of two copies of
all record documentation is to be provided.
Drawings are to be drawn in accordance with BS 308 and BS 5070 on "A1" size sheets to
BS 3429 except where specified elsewhere. Unless otherwise specified all units are to
comply with the international system of units (i.e. Sl).
All documentation and drawings are to additionally be provided on CD-ROM for handover
in addition to the required hard copies. Drawings are to be produced in AUTOCAD
(version is to be confirmed where not the latest).
Manuals are to consist of good quality loose-leaf A4 pages of at least 100g/m weight. The
manual is to lie flat when opened. The construction of the manual is to comply with
British Standards BS 5641 Recommendations for loose-leaf publications. The binder ring
or clips are to match holes punched into sheets. The holes are to be 80.0mm between
centres and are to be approximately 11.0mm from the edge of the sheet to the centre of
the holes.
The name of the manual is to be shown on the front and spine of the cover. Where the
handbook is comprised of more than one book or volume each book or volume is to be
numbered. The book or volume number is to be shown on the front and spine of the
cover.
In addition to the above the Electrical Contractor is to provide a building logbook in
accordance to the requirements of the Part L of the building regulations based on the
format of CIBSE TM31 guidance and template.
