2.14.2 Socket Outlets and Connection Units for Data Services
BS1363 switched socket outlets shall be as manufactured by MK Electric, their catalogue
reference K2746D1RED.
16A sockets for the connection of the IT cabinet in the manager office or stock room shall
be as manufacture by Menneke Electrical Ltd., their PowerTOP range, model number 510
with corresponding plug 248.
Sockets will be labelled with circuit number and distribution board reference.
It shall be noted that all socket outlets must be protected by an earth leakage protection
device within the main L.V. distribution equipment rated at 30mA.
