2.14.3 Containment

2.14.3.1 Data Cabling Generally

Provide cable basket linking between the central data cabinet and all final terminal points
for the installation of data cabling by the McDonalds specialist Contractor.

Basket will light duty with a minimum side wall height of 30mm, the width of basket will
vary between 200mm and 50mm, the selected width will be sufficient to allow the
installation of all data cabling.
2.14.3.2 Power Supply Cabling for Digital Equipment Generally

Provide tray linking between the location of the IT Power distribution board and the final
terminal points for the installation on power supply cabling associated with the digital
equipment.
Tray will be medium duty the width of tray will vary between 200mm and 50mm, the
selected width will be sufficient to allow the installation of all power cabling.

2.14.3.3 Counter

The counter is supplied complete with two lines of dado trunking fixed to the back of the
facia panel. The Electrical Contractor will provide links between the ceiling level
containment and the counter trunking as follows:

• 2 x 25mm conduit for power
• 2 x 50mm ducts for data

2.14.3.4 Digital Tablet Tables

The digital tablet table is supplied complete with internal wire ways and socket outlets for
the connection of the digital equipment.
The Electrical Contractor will provide containment linking between the ceiling level
containment or floor chase and the tablet table as follows:

• 2 x 25mm conduit for power
• 2 x 50mm ducts for data

2.14.3.5 Presenter and Order Take Booths

Provide three compartment dado trunking for the installation power sockets and data
cabling. The dado trunking is to be routed down from the ceiling and around the
perimeter of the booth.
