a.     Preside over all Chapter meetings, Chapter Executive Board, and Chapter
                                     Executive Committee meetings, exercising all powers and duties generally
                                     pertaining to a presiding officer as provided in these Bylaws.

                              b.     Enforce the rules and regulations of the National Organization including,
                                     but not limited to the  NCB  (and the codes, policies and procedures in
                                     support thereof), the NPP, the Regional Policies and Procedures, these
                                     Chapter Bylaws, the NTCRCP, and the NTCTB.
                              c.     Make committee appointments.

                              d.     Make Appointed Officer appointments (as required or desired)

                              e.     Act as the liaison between the Chapter and Regional/National entities of the
                                     Organization.

                              f.     Serve as ex-officio member of every committee, except the Nominating and
                                     Audit (if applicable) Committees (hereinafter defined).

                              g.     Shall assume the responsibility of the office upon installation.

                              h.     Shall receive and review all grievances, and shall use her discretion in the
                                     management of grievance matters pursuant to the  National Grievance
                                     Procedures (NPP).

                              i.     Be bonded by an approved bonding company approved by the National
                                     Organization, in an amount to be determined by the National Organization

                              j.     Shall serve as an authorized signatory on the Chapter’s bank accounts and
                                     is authorized to transact business and execute contracts on behalf of the
                                     Chapter.

                              k.     The Chapter  President  shall work with the Membership Committee to
                                     ensure a smooth transition of new members into the Chapter.

                              l.     Is responsible for stimulating and managing the growth and development of
                                     the Chapter.

                              m.     Shall verify “Good Standing” for the National Organization upon request.

                              n.     Shall have one  (1) vote on the Executive Board and the Executive
                                     Committee.

                              o.     Elected for one term (2 years), but may serve no more that 2 consecutive
                                     terms (4 years). See Article VI, Section 1(B) for details.
                              p.     Authority to sign contracts on behalf of the chapter.
