2. Vice President. The Chapter Vice President shall:

a. Perform those duties listed in D(1) above during the absence of the Chapter
President.

b. When a vacancy occurs in the Chapter President position, the Chapter Vice
President will assume the role as Chapter President.

c. Manage and foster a spirit of growth and nurturing within the membership.

d. Serve as the chairperson of the Membership Committee (hereinafter
defined).

e. Confirm the eligibility of Members to run for elected office as requested by
the Nominating Committee.

f. Confirm a Member’s standing (upon request by the Regional/National
Organization)

g. Shall, in her capacity as chairperson of the Membership Committee, send
the names of the newly elected officers to the National office no later than
June 15 .

h. Shall maintain a membership status file on all members.

i. Shall hear (x) all complaints or reports where Members have failed to fulfill
their obligations, (y) all complaints or reports where Members have proven
otherwise disloyal to the Chapter and its objectives, or (z) membership
matters that are subject to Involuntary Termination (except those based on
grievances submitted to the Chapter President). She shall review said
matters and report legitimate matters to the Chapter Executive Board to
consider Members disciplinary action.

j. Shall notify members in writing when they are no longer eligible for Active
membership status or when they have the option to go into Associate status.

k. Shall notify members in writing when they are no longer in Good Standing
and shall provide the rationale therefore. The committee will also advise the
Member as to what is required to be restored to Good Standing.

l. Shall serve as a liaison (when necessary) between the Associates Group and
the Executive Board/Committee.

m. Be bonded by an approved bonding company approved by the National
Organization, in an amount to be determined by the National Organization.
