j. Be bonded by an approved bonding company approved by the National
Organization, in an amount to be determined by the National Organization.
k. Shall serve as an authorized signatory on the Chapter’s banking accounts,
and is authorized to transact financial business on behalf of the Chapter.
l. Transition at the End of Term: Transfer all financial records, audits, and
properties of the office to the incoming treasurer immediately upon
completion and submission of the Chapter’s End-of-Year Report to the
National Organization (June 30 of the new Program Year following the

end of the Treasurer’s term, or the most recent End-of-Year Report deadline
established by the National Organization), but never later than June 30th.
Hold at least one transition meeting for the incoming Treasurer and/or the

Chapter President no later than July 15 of the new Program Year.
The President and Vice President shall be added to the Chapter’s bank
accounts, and granted signing authority, no later than June 15 following
th
the end of the out-going Treasurer’s term. The account should be released
for the addition of the incoming Treasurer and removal of the outgoing
th
Treasurer no later than July 15 .
m. Transition from Office after Resignation/Removal: Transfer all financial
records, audits, and properties of the office to the incoming treasurer or the
Chapter President within 5 days from removal or acceptance of resignation
(whichever occurs first). Hold at least one transition meeting for the
incoming Treasurer and/or the Chapter President no later than 15 days from
removal or acceptance of resignation (whichever occurs first).
Within 5 days of removal from office or acceptance of resignation
(whichever occurs first) the outgoing Treasurer shall execute any
documents necessary to ensure that they (as an outgoing Treasurer) are
removed from any Chapter bank accounts. If necessary, the outgoing
Treasurer shall execute any necessary documents to release the bank to add
any authorized officer to the Chapter’s accounts.
n. Assist with the completion of any audit upon request by any auditor hired
by the Chapter or any Chapter Audit Committee.
o. Responsible for completion the annual end-of-year financial statement
(End-of-Year Report) for the period of June 1 through May 31 (for the

most recent year of their service) and submitting it to the National

Organization no later than June 30 (or the most recent deadline stated by
the National Organization) of the next Program Year.
