c. Conduct roll call, log and report meeting attendance and report to the
Membership Committee Chairperson for review pursuant to the relevant
governing documents.
d. Submit copies of the minutes to the Chapter President no later than two
weeks following each meeting.
e. Maintain accurate records of attendance at Mothers’ and Special meetings.
f. Prepare minutes for dissemination to the membership.
g. Collect reports from all officers/committees and Members to include as part
of the Chapter records.
h. Preserve all books, records and documents pertaining to that office.
i. Verify and/or provide the Membership Committee Chairperson with
appropriate Member Mother attendance information upon request (for Good
Standing evaluations), and provide the Nominating & Elections Committee
with Good Standing verifications for Chapter elections.
j. Assume the duties of the President in the absence of the President and Vice
President.
k. Maintain a file of amendments to the bylaws.
j. Shall have one (1) vote on the Executive Board and the Executive
Committee.
k. Elected for one term (2 years), but may serve no more that 2 consecutive
terms (4 years). See Article VI, Section 1(B) for details.
5. Corresponding Secretary. It shall be the duty of the Chapter Corresponding
Secretary to:
a. Prepare correspondence as authorized by the Chapter President.
b. Shall receive and disseminate all correspondence.
c. Notify all members of Mothers’ Meetings, Special meetings and
announcements
d. Disseminate proposed amendments to the Bylaws.
e. Assist the Recording Secretary when necessary.
