15. Associate Chairperson (Appointed Officer). It shall be the duty of the Chapter
Associate Chairperson to:
a. Serve as chairperson of The Associates Group.
b. Give the report of The Associates Group at the Mothers’ Meetings.
c. Shall serve as the Associate liaison to help recruit tenured mothers and
disseminate Associate information to Associates and the Associate Group.
d. Assist the Chapter officers in carrying out their duties as requested.
e. Serve as the liaison for the Mothers-Away-From-Home Project.
f. Serves for one term (2 years), but no more than two (2) consecutive terms
(4 years). This term of service is subject to Article VI, Section 2(B) and
(C) hereof (regarding serving at the privilege of the President and general
Term of Office).
g. Shall serve as a non-voting member of the Executive Committee. Shall
report to the Executive Board through the Chapter Vice- President.
Section 4. The Executive Board shall provide leadership, strategic direction and operational
excellence to the Chapter, and to act on behalf of the Chapter as prescribed herein.
A. Composition: shall consist of the elected and appointed (non-voting)
officers of the Chapter. The Chapter President shall serve as chairperson.
B. Meetings: The Executive Board shall meet before the Mothers’ Meetings
each Month (from September to May) A majority of officers in Good
Standing shall constitute a quorum.
Article VII - Committees
Section 1: General
A. The creation of Committees: standing or special committees, shall be created by the
Chapter President (except the Executive Committee), and established upon the approval of
a majority of the Executive Board, as it shall be deemed necessary to carry on the work of
the Organization. The Chapter President shall be an ex-officio member of all committees
(except the Audit and Nominating Committees).
