Standing Committee Chairpersons. The Chapter President shall serve as
                                     chairperson.

                              b.     Meetings: The Executive Committee shall meet when called upon by the
                                     Chapter President, provided that at least 48 hours notice is provided.  A
                                     majority of officers in Good Standing shall constitute a quorum.

                       6.     The Foundation Fundraising Committee shall consist of shall be responsible for
                              the development and implementation of fundraising strategies and activities. The
                              Foundation Chair shall serve as chairperson and shall be appointed by the President.
                              The  Foundation Chair  shall report to the  Executive Board on behalf of this
                              Committee. It shall be the duty of the Chapter’s  Foundation Chair  and the
                              Fundraising Committee to:

                              a.     Make recommendations of ways in which the  Chapter can support the
                                     Chapter’s fundraising efforts and Foundation (see Appendix B).

                              b.     Shall explore worthy local charities and projects for the Chapter’s financial
                                     support and participation

                              c.     Shall review the charitable contribution applications and formulate
                              and submit a list of local charitable organizations to be the
                            recipients of financial assistance as directed by the membership.
                            Charities considered for contributions should be IRS
                            approved and should contribute either socially, culturally,
                            educationally, economically, or in the form of recreation to the
                            Black community.

                       7.     The Grievance Committee shall manage the grievance process as outlined the
                              NPP (Grievance Process). Said committee shall be comprised of the Executive
                              Board of the Chapter and Chaired by the Chapter President (the Chapter Vice
                              President if the Chapter President is the subject of the grievance). This Committee
                              shall only be convened as needed.

                       8.        The Membership/Social Committee:

                              a.     The Chapter Vice President shall serve as chairperson who shall report to
                                     the Executive Board on behalf of this Committee.

                              b.     Shall assume responsibility for orientation and  initiation of prospective
                                     members and prepare a ballot for the election of new members

                              c.     Shall maintain records of the following: (x) Mother’s Meeting attendance,
                                     (y) conferences/Area Workday attendance, and (z) financial status of all
                                     members
