Article One! The Nome|
The Byndioate of Labourers in Bahrain,
"The Syndicate ie constituted of and includes all
the labourers and employees performing a
physical work and being paid for it and a 32 ntol or
controlled
and directed by the owner* The work oould be a
governmental, an industrial or any commercial
enterprise,”
The Syndicate is established on the 1955

Article Two! The Objeots,
Clause One; The Byndioate will bring together all the member
labourers of all orafts and profossiono, and direct
their potential strength to the benefits and advantages
of the whole group, on tho busis of and in accordance
with the democratic traditions.
Clause Twoi The Syndicate will look after tho affaire of its
members, and defends thoir rights and protects
their interest, as a group or as members of the
whole union, in fron of any institution or authority
if they are maltreated or misjudged according to the
prevailing laws and traditions. The Syndicate will
work as an intordediary botweon the labourers and
the concerned interested parties and try to
omoothen the relations between them, and raise the
standard of living of its members in all respect,
Clause Threei The Byndioate will facilitate the means of works
for its unemployed Members and assist them to got
a Job, and will assist them during their unemploy
ment or long continued sickness, or complete
inability; and will help their under-age children
and assist them, in case of death; on condition
that the membor hue been in the Gyndicate for a
year* The Executive Board will decide the kind
and degree of assistance to be given according
to the ciroumstances.
Clause Pouri The Syndicate will undertake tho investment of part
of its money in tho commercial or cooperative
enterprises, directly or indirectly, to the benefits
of all the members.
Clause Five; The Byndioate will undertake to develop the
potentialities of its members and raise thoir
social, moral, and cultural stunding.

Clause Onoi Every Bahraini labourer, sixteen years of age, has
the right to apply for and be a member of the Syndicate
if accepted by the RxeautiYe Board, 9
