The Old Covenant law ministers
                                                 sin and death to us.

This is a ministry you surely don’t want.

Romans 11:33 says, “For God has concluded them all in

UNBELIEF, that he might have mercy upon all.” From Hebrews 4:2,

we know that the unbelief he is talking about is living life outside of

                faith in the gospel.

Remember, you must read the Bible in context, and this is

even more true of Paul’s teachings about the gospel.

Thus Paul says this: “The scripture (the Old Covenant) has
concluded them all under sin, that the promise by faith of Jesus

Christ might be given to them that believe” (Gal 4:22).

To Paul, not all ‘believers’ are true ‘believers.’ If they did not

‘believe and live the gospel, they were still ‘saints of God,’ but they

were not all ‘faithful in Christ Jesus.’ You see this distinction in

Ephesians 1:1, and elsewhere, if you’re reading the KJV. If you read
more modern translations, these distinctions are often lost.

I believe that many of our modern translators

do not have a revelation of the gospel.

“You can’t give what you ain’t got.”
If they don’t know the gospel they can’t minister it.

Paul wasn’t distinguishing whether or not they were going to
