heaven. ALL Christians go to heaven. Instead, he distinguished how
they live their life in the ‘here and now’ — whether in the

               gospel or not.

In Hebrews 8:13, Paul says the New Covenant is established,

               — thus declaring the first covenant system of rules to be obsolete.

He says it’s growing old, decaying, and is ready to vanish away.

That sounds like an analogy to a dead body in a grave to me.

God put the Old Covenant religious system (the law) to death

2,000 years ago. He nailed it to the cross of Jesus. Yet, every Sunday,

many churches do everything in their power to resurrect it.

It’s like they try to breathe life into a dead corpse. They teach

their people to live their lives in a religious graveyard.

I Corinthians 15:34 is one of those passages that read very

differently — depending if you’re standing on the Old Covenant law,

or living in the New Covenant gospel: “Awake to righteousness and
               sin not!”

If you’re living in the law, what this passage says to you is that

you need to be righteous by not sinning. If you’re living in the

gospel, what it says is that if you quit living with your mind blinded,
and your heart veiled, and awake to your God-imparted righteous-

ness (II Cor 5:21), sin will be much less of a problem to you.
