TODAY’S YOUTH, TOMORROW’S LEADERS

Grooming young people to become the leaders of tomorrow is an important goal of the NYAA Council. To be
future leaders, our young people must be trained and prepared to face the political, economic, societal and
environmental challenges confronting today. The Council provides various training opportunities for them.
This includes conferences, symposiums, forums, seminars, workshops and others. The Council also organises
programmes for young people to engage and interact with political, business leaders and civil society leaders.
By participating in these activities, the youth acquire relevant knowledge, critical thinking and the necessary
skills to become community leaders. They are then able to generate good ideas and solutions to help the
nation. They will be an asset as they play a pro-active role in society. Leadership training and other activities
were organised for the young people in 2020.
