11. The condition of the patient determines how long he should sit up. The patient. Should
be assisted back to bed at once if he shows any signs of fainting or fatigue or if his
pulse is markedly increased.
12. To put the patient back to bed, reverse the Procedure.
13. Check pulse again. Make the patient comfortable in bed.
