Jab, slip, body shot, hook
                To slip, bend laterally around the waist to the side adjacent

                to your rear hand, taking your head off the center line.
                When throwing the body shot, use your rear hand and pivot
                your rear foot until your toes point forward. Your rear and
                lead foot should both face the target.



                COMBINATION 36




                Jab, slip, body shot, uppercut

                Remember not to pull your elbow before throwing the
                uppercut, as this will expose the chin.



                COMBINATION 37




                Jab, slip, body shot, uppercut, cross
                Remember to turn your wrist on the jab and the cross to

                connect your knuckles to the target.

                Jab, rear hook
                While retracting from the jab, lift and lock your rear elbow at
                an inner angle of 90 degrees as you rotate around the waist
                to throw the hook. Pivot on the ball of the rear foot so your

                toes face forward when throwing the rear hook.

                Slip, lean back, slip
                Bend laterally around the waist to the side adjacent to your
                rear hand, taking your head off the center line. Stay low as
