                opposite direction as you return to neutral, taking your head

                off the center line once again.

                Slip, lean back, slip, pivot
                Bend laterally around the waist to the side adjacent to your
                rear hand. Stay low as you lean back. Bend laterally around
                the waist in the opposite direction. Push off your rear foot

                and pivot 90 degrees on the ball of your lead foot.


                COMBINATION 41

                Catch, cross, hook, cross

                Start in neutral stance with your rear hand protecting your
                chin and elbow tucked against your side. Lift your rear

                shoulder up toward your ear to catch an incoming strike.
                Counter with a straight cross. Lift and lock your lead elbow
                at an inner angle of 90 degrees and rotate around the waist
                to throw the hook, then pivot on the ball of your rear foot

                while rotating your waist to throw a second cross.


                COMBINATION 42





                Catch, hook, cross
                Start in neutral stance with your rear hand protecting your
                chin and elbow tucked against your side. Lift your lead

                shoulder up toward your ear to catch an incoming strike.
                Counter with a lead hook, then throw a cross.
