Rear axle- rear wheel brake
Four-circuit protection valve
Replacement
1. Disconnect the connected air pipes
from four-circuit protection valve
(a). Loosen the terminal nuts of four-circuit
protective valve air pipe.
HINT:
Place matchmarks on each pipe before
disconnecting them for the convenient
identification during the installation.
2. Remove the four-circuit protection
valve assembly
(a). Loosen the 2 fixing bolts from the
four-circuit protection valve.
(b). Remove the four-circuit protection valve
assembly.
3. Install the four-circuit protection valve
assembly.
(a). Install the four-circuit protection valve
and screw down the 2 fixing bolts.
Torque: 21 ~ 25 N•m

4. Connect the air pipes to the
four-circuit protection valve
(a). Connect the air pipes of four-circuit
protection valve according to the
matchmarks and screw down the
terminal nuts of the air pipes.
Torque: 32 ~ 42 N•m
5. Brake system seal tightness test (refer to “chapter 26 service brake-brake system,
on-vehicle inspection”)
6. brake system air inflation performance test (refer to “chapter 26 service brake-brake
system, on-vehicle inspection”)
