Page 10 - MOVING THROUGH AIR
P. 10

6. God does not waste anything or anyone. He makes a use for each one of us,

even if we do not feel very useful. Just like he uses our waste gas and re-
cycles it through plants to make oxygen again, he can change us and use us
                     for his great plans.

                 7. Talk briefly about Jesus on the cross when ‘he breathed his last’. When we

stop breathing our bodies will die too. Warn against the dangers of grabbing
people by the throat as this can stop them breathing so they will die.

                 8. If time allows, some children may be able to work our how many breaths they

take per minute when walking then compare it to running. A stop-watch would
                     be needed.

                 9. Let the children complete the worksheet.

                 10. End by thanking God for the breath of life.

                 .
                   1. The children will understand that God is economic in his design and he re-
cycles gas. They will see how plants and animals need each other.

                   2. They will see the wisdom in re-cycling.

                   3. They will know that we all need the Holy Spirit as the Breath of Life to live
                        our lives to the full.

1 Corinthians 3:7 ‘So neither he who plants nor he who waters is anything, but
only God, who makes things grow.’

2 Corinthians 3:18 ‘And we, who with unveiled faces all reflect the Lord’s glory,
are being transformed into his likeness with ever-increasing glory,

which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.’
