Bridgewater-Hebron Village School Named a 2025 National Blue Ribbon School
As part of a celebration for receiving the 2025 National Blue Ribbon Award for elementary education, the staff, teachers, and administration of Bridgewater-Hebron Village School, along with the new SAU 108 school board, were given special B-HVS Blue Ribbon tee shirts as students cheered and applauded them.

Students of Bridgewa- ter-Hebron Village School heard from Principal Tonia Orlando that “Yes” is the most important word in their school vocabulary when she encour- aged them to say “Yes” to excellence, “Yes” to learning, “Yes” to leadership, and “Yes”
to hard work.
The entire school popula-
tion of B-HVS routinely gath- ers each month to recognize individual achievements, but the assembly at the end of Jan- uary was also about more than just that; it was a very special recognition of achievement for the entire school.
“Today we celebrate some- thing truly exceptional,” Orlando announced as the children gathered. “Out of all the elementary schools in New Hampshire, Bridgewater-He- bron Village School has been named a 2025 National Blue Ribbon School.”
In fact, BHVS was one of
only three in the state to re- ceive this prestigious honor for 2025.
National Blue Ribbon School awards began in 1982, recognizing elementary, mid- dle, and high schools across the country for overall aca-
