Announcements

Announcements are a vital link for school-wide communications that set the tone for the school
day. Respectful attention by teachers, students, parents, and staff lends additional importance to
the communication.

Morning Announcement Format (7:15am-7:25am)

Assemblies

Due to health and safety guidelines set forth by the Center of Disease Control all large group
gatherings of students or adults will be prohibited. Meetings and field experiences will be held
virtually.

During regular school conditions, assemblies are a regular scheduled part of the curriculum and as
such are designed to be educational, as well as entertaining experiences. They also provide one of
the few opportunities in school for students to learn formal audience behavior. Teachers are to
escort their individual classes to the assembly site and should be seated with their classes to assist
in supervision. Regardless of the type of program, courtesy demands the student body be
respectful and appreciative.
