who He considers to be His friends: “Ye are

my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command

you,” and He stated His mission to sinners in

Luke 5:32: “I came not to call the righteous,

but sinners to repentance.” Calling sinners to

repentance was the purpose for Christ’s

associations with them — not to socialize

with them and “have fun” with them — and

calling sinners to repentance should also be

the mission of all born-again Christians and

should also be our purpose for our

associations with them.

But if Christians are silenced around

unbelievers and ungodly and worldly

people and are not allowed to communicate

God’s Word or talk about the cross of Christ

and/or biblical truths, we have no obligation
