Chapter 6 Frame and Carriage Assembly

Optinal Rail Heat Installation Completion
At this point if you have the Rail Heat Option, The Rubber Heat Strips should already be inside of the Expansion Rails and
the Electrical Enclosure should be secured and grounded to the entrance or exit crossbeam. It is now time to terminate the
lead wires of the Rubber Heat Strips to the enclosure and install additional ground wires from the crossbeam to the
expansion rails.

Connecting the Tape Strips to the Electrical Enclosure

1) Locate the supplied tie-wraps and press them into the eight 1/4” holes that you previously drilled into the
entrance crossbeam as shown below.

2) Run the wire leads of the Tape Strips through the tie-wraps and into the enclosure as shown below.

When routing this wire, be sure to make a little “dip” in it to allow dripping water to fall away. See side view
