                       Chapter 3 General Repairs


                       Changing a Roller or Drive Shaft


                          Non-Driven (Idler) Rollers
                          Note:  On the driver’s side, it is not necessary to perform step 3.

                          4)  If you are replacing the bearing it is necessary to remove the aluminum bearing retainer bolt
                              from the machine. To do this use a 1” and a 1-1/4” socket to loosen the nut from the bolt. See
                              the image below.

                          5)  Loosen the bolts and lock washers that attach the roller to the machine and pull the roller off
                              the machine. See the image below.

                          6)  Loosen  the  five  nylok  nuts  that  hold the roller to the bearing assembly and pull the plastic
                              roller off. See the image below.
