Chapter 3 General Repairs
Replacing a Bent Shaft or Wheel Bearing
5) Take the Arm bearing extrusion cover out of the slot. See the image below.

6) Loosen the collar from the shaft and have someone lift up on the shaft. See the image above.
Remove the collar and have the other person drop the shaft down below the upper
bearing
Note: It may be necessary to angle the shaft slightly to drop it out of the arm completely.
7) Slide the bearing off the bent shaft and place it onto the new hub/shaft part. See the image
above.
8) Remove all of the Neo-Tex™ from the bent hub/shaft keeping all the different sizes in order
and organized.
9) Remove the spider assemblies from the bent shaft(s) and place them on the new shaft(s).

10) Follow the steps in the installation manual to reassemble the arms, including the Neo-Tex™,
properly.
11) Turn the air and power to the machine back on when this procedure is complete.
