                              nänä-maëi-pallavakäç ca çäkhäù
                              te pallavä bhüri-maëi-prasünäù
                            prasüna-saìghä bahu-bheda-gandhäù


               yaù—which; ratna—of jewels; våkñaù—tree; puru—many; ratna—of
               jewels; çäkhäù—branches; nänä-various; maëi—of jewels; pallavakäù—
               blossoms; ca—also; çäkhäù—branches; te—they; pallaväù—blossoms;
               bhüri—many; maëi—jewels; prasünaù—flowers; prasüna—of flowers;
               saìghäù—groups; bahu—many; bheda—different; gandhäù—fragrances.

            The trees made of jewels. They have many jewel brances, various
            jewel twigs, and jewel flowers that carry a variety of fragrances.

                               vihära-ratnäcalatäù patädbhir
                            maëi-dravais tulya-saraiù prapürëam
                           bhü-bhüruhäà ratna-påthak-suratnair
                              bhätaà maëi-pakñibhir älavälam


               vihära—of pastimes; ratna—of jewels; acalatäù—from the movement;
               patädbhiù—by the falling; amëi-dravaiù—jewels; tulya-saraiù—excellent;
               prapürëam—filled; bhü-bhüruhäm—of the trees; ratna—of jewels;
               påtak—various; suratnaih—with excellent jewels; bhätam—splendidly
               manifest; maëi—of jewels; pakñibhiù—with birds; alavalam—the area
               around the roots.
            Jewel birds perch on the jewel branches. Jewels fall from the tree
            and cover the nearby area. They appear like a little jewel irrigation
            trench around the tree's roots.
