c. Measure the distance A of left and right front wheel marks on the horizontal forward position
d. Rotate both front wheels 180° in the same direction and measure the distance B between the two marks. DI
e. The front and back distance difference A-B value is the toe-in of front wheel.
Front wheel toe-in:0.5 ~ 2.5mm EG
f. If the toe-in is not correct, adjust it by changing the
length of steering tie-rod TR
• Unscrew the locking bolts of ball head clamps at the
two ends of steering cross rod. AX
• Rotate the steering cross rod to adjust the length so as to
set the front wheel toe-in to the regulated value.

3. Check the steering angle
a. Lift the vehicle and install the angle measuring BR
instrument under the front wheel
Caution BW
Add a wood block under the rear wheel with the same
thickness as that of angle measuring instrument EL
b. Make the turntable scale to zero by rotating the steering wheel. Rotate the steering wheel to the limit
positions respectively clockwise and anti-clockwise
Caution
When rotating the steering wheel to turn the front wheel, step down the braking pedal to prevent the
vehicle moving
c. Read the maximum angle of front inner and outer wheels
Maximum rotating angle of front wheel: 44.5 °
If the maximum rotating angle of the front inner and outer wheel is not within the specified range, it should be
adjusted.(See "Chapter ST Steering System - Steering Mechanism - Steering System, Inspection on vehicle")
4. Measure the front wheel camber angle
a. Lift the front wheel with the jack and place the angle measuring instrument under the front wheels and
place the contact centers of left and right tire in the center of the turntable of the angle measuring instrument.
Caution
Add a wood block under the rear wheel with the same thickness as that of angle measuring instrument
b. After the angle measuring instrument is in place, remove the jack.
