4. Disassembly of front brake shoe assembly IN

a. Remove the brake shoe's roller circlip using the circlip

b. Hit out the brake shoe roller shaft using the chisel.

c. Remove the brake shoe roller.

d. Check the inside and outside diameters of the brake

roller and calculate their clearance. Check whether

their wear values are beyond the specified limits.
Service standard: 0.09~0.15mm EL
Wearing limit: 0.4mm

e. Punch out the return spring fixing pin from the brake
shoe assembly using a punch.

f. Punch out the brake shoe shaft lining using a lining
punch.
