        [I.e. if you are faced with a choice of lending money to]

 or that woman, etc., [and stone them]”? 20  ’BèÐîêîÌíÔííÖMÌêÖí³ÓêBê  one of My people or to a gentile,  Z −BèÐî−ÌnÔ¼
 But [the answer is:] since there it was not made clear  LÔþ−ÑõêHÓL−ÌõÐñêÖlÓê  then “one of My people” has priority. 37  ,óÑðBš −ÌnÔ¼
        [If the choice is between] a poor person and a rich one,  Zþ−ÌLÖ¼Ðî−ÌòÖ¼
 what form of worship carries the death penalty,  ZíÖ³−Ìôë−ÖiÔìíÖðBëμ Bï−ÑêñÔ¼
                       then the poor person has priority.  ,óÑðBš −ÌòÖ¼
 and so that you not think  þÔôêÒ³êHÓL
              [If the choice is between] the poor of your city  EÐþ−̼−ÑiÌòμ
 that all forms of [idolatry] worship  ³BðBëμñÖk
                           and the poor of another city,  Z³ÓþÓìÔêþ−̼−ÑiÌòμÔî
 carry the death penalty,  ZíÖ³−ÌôÐa

 when it is done to [the One] in Heaven,  ,óÌ−ÔôÖMÔñ
                                    “The poor one.”  ,−ÌòÖ¼Óí³Óê
 so, too, do I include one who burns incense  þ−̬КÔnÔííÓ aÐþÔô−ÌòÎê¹Ôê
                      And to which particular poor one?  ?−ÌòÖ¼íÓï−ÑêÐñe
 and one who pours libation,  CÑqÔòÐôÔíÐî
                          To the one that is “with you.”  .CÖn̼ÓL B³BêÐñ
 which are also services performed inside [the Mikdosh;]  ,ó−ÌòÐõÌa ³BðBëμöÑíÓL

 whether it is the usual way of worshipping it  ,CÖ×ÐadÖðÐëÖ¼ÐñdÖkÐþÔcÓLö−Ña
                          for he is one of My people”—  :−ÌnÔ¼ êeíÓL
 or is not the usual way of worshipping it.  ,CÖ×ÐadÖðÐëÖ¼ÐñíÖkÐþÔcö−ÑêÓLö−Ña
 But other forms of worship, 21  ,³BðBëμþÖêÐLñÖëÎê  the poor that is with you—  .CÈnÄòéÄðÈòÞÆä-úÆà
 such as: one who sweeps the floor [before an idol]  ðÑaÔ×ÐôÔí öBèÐk  [saying, in effect:] “Look at yourself  EÐôЮԼÐañÑkÔzнÌô−ÑîÍí
 or one who sprinkles water so as to settle the dust,  ±ÑaÔþÐôÔíÐî  as if you were the poor person.”) 39  :(−ÌòÖ¼ÓííÖzÔê el−ÌêÐk

 19 Regarding one who worships idols. Summary: 1. The prefix letters ñ,×,ë generally take a sheva (CÓñÓôÐñ). 2. Before
