                     18. Avraham is indeed to become í§Ó−ÐíÞÌ−B«−Öíó flÖíÖþÐë¶ÔêÐî .ì−                 from my father’s house, I said to her, d flÖñþ¤ÔôÒêÞÖî ›−ÌëÖê³−¤ÑaÌô
                          a great and mighty nation, óe¢®Ö¼ÐîñB£ðÖb−B'èÐñ                          ‘this is the kindness you shall do for me. −¢ÌðÖn̼−£ÌNμÞÔzþ'ÓLÎêC flÑcнÔìí¤Óï
                     and through him shall be blessed B flë-e×ÐþÐë¶ÌòÐî                                       At every place we come to, íÖn flÖLêB¤ëÖòþ¤ÓLÎê·óBšÖnÔí-ñÖkñ¥Óê
                         all the nations of the world. :±ÓþÞÖêÖí−'Ñ−Bb ñ£Òk                                say of me, ‘He is my brother.’” :êe Þí−'ÌìÖê−£Ìñ-−ÌþÐôÌê
               19. For I have given him special attention î− †ÌzмÔðÐ−−¤Ìk .¬−                          14. Avimelech took sheep, cattle, þ†ÖšÖëe öê¤Ò®CÓñ‚Óô−ÌëÎêì¶ÔwÌiÔî .ð−

                                       In Sedom!  ,óBðнÌa                                15. Avimelech said, “Behold, my land is before you. E−¢ÓòÖõÐñ−£Ì®ÐþÔêí'ÑpÌíCÓñ flÓô−ÌëÎêþÓôê¤ÒiÔî .î¬
                It would not be right for Me to do this thing  íÓïþÖëÖc ³BNμÔñ−ÌñíÓõÖ−êG

           [which denotes] a father of a multitude of nations.  ,óÌ−Bb öBôÎíëÔê                            [or] “Its owner was warned.” 324  ,î−ÖñÖ¼ÐëÌaðÔ¼eíÐî
                        Can I, then, destroy the children  ó−ÌòÖaÔí³Óêð−ÌôÐLÔêÐî                   If you ask, why the term e¼Ð³Ìí is used here, 325  ?e¼Ð³Ìí öBLÐñeíÔô:þÔôêÒzóÌêÐî

               without informing the father who loves Me?  ?−ÌëÎíBê êeíÓL,ëÖêÖñÔ¼−ÌðBê êGÐ î     [I would answer,] anyone exiled from his place  BôBšÐnÌôíÓñBbÔíñÖk
                                                                                                                      and is not settled  ëÖMe−Ðô Bò−ÑêÐî

                                   He blessed him.  .B×ÎþÑa
                                                                                               [meaning:] they go out and wander seeking food.  :óÖñÐ×ÖêLÑšÔëÐñe¼Ð³Ì−ÐîeêÐ ®Ñ−
                         But, the simple explanation is:  :î¬eLÐõe
            [God, in effect, said:] “Would I conceal from him,  ,ó−ÌñмÔô−ÌòÎêepÓnÌô−Ì×Ðî                                 Say of me.  .éÄìéÄøÀîÄà
                           when he is so beloved to Me  −ÔòÖõÐñë−ÌëÖì êeí −ÑþÎíÔî                                [−Ìñ meaning] about me.  ,−ÔñÖ¼
                           as to become a great nation  ñBðÖb −BèÐñ ³B−ÐíÌñ                           Similarly “The local men asked BzÐLÌêÐñ 329  ,BzÐLÌêÐñ óBšÖnÔí−ÑLÐòÔêeñÎêÐLÌiÔî:öÑ×Ðî
                        and through him will be blessed  Ba CÑþÖaгÌíÐñe                                        [meaning:] about his wife.  ,BzÐLÌêñÔ¼
                            all the nations of the earth.  !±ÓþÖêÖí−Ñ−Bb ñÒk                         Similarly, “And Pharaoh said ñÑêÖþÐNÌ−−ÑòÐëÌñ 330  ,ñÑêÖþÐNÌ−−ÑòÐëÌñíÒ¼ÐþÔtþÔôÖêÐîöÑ×Ðî
                                                                                                       the same as [ñÔ¼] about the Bnei Yisrael.  ,ñÑêÖþÐNÌ−−ÑòÐañÔ¼BôÐk
