 27. The seven thin, bad [looking] cows ³‚Ò¼ÖþÞÖíÐî³B¶wÔþÞÖí³B…þÖtÔí…¼Ôë¤ÓLÐî .ï×  18. Yoseif replied and said, “This is its interpretation: B¢òÒþгÌtí£ÓïþÓôêflÕiÔѽB− öÔ¼¥ÔiÔî .ì−
 who came up after them, ö†Óí−ÑþÎìÞÔ곤GÒ¼ÞÖí  The three baskets represent three days. :óÞÑíó−£ÌôÖ−³ÓL'ñÐLó− flÌlÔqÔí·³ÓL ¶ñÐL
 represent seven years, íÖp flÑí·ó−ÌòÖL¼Ôë¥ÓL  19. In another three days, ó− †ÌôÖ−³ÓL¤ñÐL|ðB¤¼Ða .¬−
 and the seven empty, east wind—scorched ears, ó−¢ÌðÖwÔí³B£õŠðÐL³B flšÑþÞÖí·ó−ÌñÏaÌMÔí¼Ôë¥ÓLÐî  Pharaoh will lift your head from off you. E− flÓñÖ¼ÞÑô·EÐLê ÞÒþ-³Óêí¥Ò¼ÐþÔõê ¶ÖOÌ−
 represent the coming of seven years of famine. :ëÞÖ¼Öþ−'ÑòÐL¼Ôë£ÓLe–−ÐíÞÌ−  He will hang you on a tree, ±¢Ñ¼-ñÔ¼ £EгB Þêí'ÖñÖ³Ðî
 28. This is the word þÖëÖcÔíêe¤í .ì×  and the birds will eat your flesh from off you. :E−ÞÓñÖ¼ÞÑô £EÐþÞÖNÐa-³Óê¹B§¼Öíñ'Ô×ÖêÐî
 that I have spoken to Pharaoh; í¢Ò¼ÐþÔt-ñÓê−ÌzÐþ£ÔaÌcþ'ÓLÎê  Maftir  øéèôî
 what God is about to do, í£ÓNÒ¼ó−§ÌíGÍêÞÖíþ«ÓLÎê  20. It was on the third day, − †ÌL−ÌñÐMÔíóB¤iÔa|−¤ÌíÐ−Ôî.×
 He has revealed to Pharaoh. :í ÞÒ¼ÐþÔt-³Óêí'ÖêÐþÓí  which was Pharaoh’s birthday, í flÒ¼ÐþÔt-³Óê³Óð¤ÓlŠí óB−ƒ
 29. Behold, seven years are coming ³B¢êÖaó−£ÌòÖL¼Ôë'ÓLí§ÑpÌí .¬×  that he [Pharaoh] made a feast for all his servants. î−¢ÖðÖëμ-ñÖ×Ðñí£ÓzÐLÌôNÔ¼'ÔiÔî
 during which there will be great abundance ñB£ðÖb¼'ÖëÖN  He lifted the head of the chief butler, ó−†ÌšÐLÔnÔíþ¤ÔN|Lê¤Òþ-³Óêê„ÖOÌiÔî
 in the entire land of Egypt. :óÌ−ÞÖþЮÌô±Óþ'Óê-ñÖ×Ða  and the head of the chief baker among his servants. :î−ÞÖðÖëμCB'³Ðaó−£ÌõÒêÞÖíþ'ÔNLê§Òþ-³ÓêÐî
 30. Seven years of famine will rise after them, ö flÓí−ÑþÎìÞÔê·ëÖ¼Öþ−¥ÑòÐL¼Ô ë ¶ÓLeô…ÖšÐî….ñ  21. He restored the chief butler ó− £Ì šÐLÔnÔíþ'ÔN-³ÓêëÓL§ÖiÔî .ê×
 and all the abundance will be forgotten ¼£ÖëÖOÔí-ñÖkì'ÔkÐLÌòÐî  to his position, eí¢ÑšÐLÔô-ñÔ¼
 in the land of Egypt. óÌ−¢ÖþЮÌô±Óþ¤ÓêÐa  and he presented the cup into Pharaoh’s hand. :í ÞÒ¼ÐþÔt¹'Ôk-ñÔ¼½B£kÔíö'ÑzÌiÔî
 The famine will devastate the land. :±ÓþÞÖêÖí-³Óêë£Ö¼ÖþÞÖíí'ÖlÌ×Ðî

                       It is called Ginusia Day [in Greek].  .êÖ−нeò−Ñb óB− Bñ ö−ÌþBšÐî
 [26] Seven years, and seven years.  .íéÄðÈLòÇáÆLÀåíéÄðÈLòÇáÆL [åë]  The ³ÓðÓlŠí form [which is ñ−̼ÐõÌí—passive causative, is used]  ,³ÓðÓleí öBLÖñÐî
 Together they total only seven [years]. 17  ,¼ÔëÓLêÖlÓêöÖò−ÑêöÖlek  because the infant is not born  ðÖñBò ðÖñÖeÔíö−ÑêÓL−ÌõÐñ
 The reason for the dream being repeated twice  ,óÌ−ÔôμÔt óBñÎìÔííÖòÐLÌòþÓLÎêÔî  unless it is with the aid of others  ,ó−ÌþÑìÎê−ÑðÐ−ñÔ¼êÖlÓê
 is because the thing is imminent,  ,öÖneïÐôþÖëÖcÔíÓL−ÌõÐñ  because a midwife helped the woman give birth.  ,íÖMÌêÖí³Óê³ÓðÓlÔ−ÐôíÖiÔìÔíÓL
 as he explained to him afterwards:  :¹B½ÐaBñLÔþ−ÑtÓLBôÐk  It is for this reason that a midwife  íÖiÔìÔíöÑkñÔ¼Ðî
 “As for the dream being repeated, etc.” 18  .’îèî óBñÎìÔí ³BòÖMÌíñÔ¼Ðî  is called a ³ÓðÓlÔ−Ðô—one who brings to birth.  ,³ÓðÓlÔ−Ðô³êÑþКÌò

 whereas, concerning the seven hunger years  þÔôÍêÓòëÖ¼Öþ−ÑòÐL¼ÔëÓLÐëe  He lifted the head, etc. 142  .'åâå LàÉøúÆààÈOÄiÇå
 it states: “He [God] has revealed to Pharaoh” 20  ,íÒ¼ÐþÔt³ÓêíÖêÐþÓí
         [Meaning:] he counted them with his other servants,  ,î−ÖðÖëμþÖ êÐLó̼óÖêÖòÐô
 because the thing was distant and far-off,  ,šBìÖþÐîèÖñÐõeô þÖëÖcÔííÖ−ÖíÓL−ÌõÐñ
                   because he was counting those servants  ó−̳ÐþÖLÐnÔííÓòBô íÖ−ÖíÓL
 where the proper term is íÓêÐþÔô—showing.  :íÓêÐ þÔô öBLÐñBañÑõBò
                      that would wait on him at his feast,  ,B³Öðe¼Ð½ÌëBñe³ÐþÖLÐiÓL
 [30] And all of the abundance will be forgotten. 21  .òÈáÈOÇäìÈkçÇkÀLÄðÀå [ì]  he remembered these among them,  ,óÖ×B³ÐëelÑê³ÓêþÔ×ÖïÐî
