 16. Yoseif answered Pharaoh, saying, þ £ÒôêÑñí§Ò¼ÐþÔt-³Ó깫ѽB− öÔ¼¶ÔiÔî .ï¬  MIKEITZ õ÷î
 “Not I. −¢ÖðÖ¼ÐñÌa  41 1. It was at the end of two full years, ó−¢ÌôÖ−óÌ−¤Ô³ÖòÐL± £ÑwÌô−–ÌíÐ−Ôî.ê àî
 God will respond to the peace of Pharaoh.” :í ÞÒ¼ÐþÔtóB'ñÐL-³Óêí£ÓòμÞÔ−ó−–ÌíGÍê  that Pharaoh had a dream, ó flÑñÒìí¤Ò¼ÐþÔõe
 17. Pharaoh spoke to Yoseif, ¹¢Ñ½B−-ñÓêí£Ò¼ÐþÔtþ'ÑaÔðÐ−Ôî .ï−  and behold, he was standing on the bank of the river. :þ ÞÒêÐ−Ôí-ñÔ¼ð'ÑôÒ¼í£ÑpÌíÐî
 “In my dream, −–ÌôGÎìÞÔa  2. Behold, from the river þ †ÒêÐ−Ôí-öÌôí¤ÑpÌíÐî.ë
 I was standing on the bank of the river. :þ ÞÒêÐ−Ôí³'ÔõÐN-ñÔ¼ð£ÑôÒ¼−'ÌòÐòÌí  emerged seven cows, ³B flþÖt¼Ôë¤ÓL·³GÒ¼
 18. Behold from the river there emerged ·³GÒ¼þ †ÒêÐ−Ôí-öÌôí¤ÑpÌíÐî .ì−  fine looking and well-fleshed, þ¢ÖNÖa³¤Òê−ÌþÐëe í£ÓêÐþÔô³B'õÐ−
 seven cows, well-fleshed and fine looking, þÔê¢ Òz³¤Òõ−Ìîþ£ÖNÖa³B'ê−ÌþÐa³B flþÖt¼Ôë¤ÓL  and they were grazing in the reed grass. :eìÞÖêÖaíÖò−£Ó¼ÐþÌzÔî

 19. And behold seven other cows ·³BþÑìÎê³B¥þÖt-¼ÔëÞÓLí„ÑpÌíÐî .¬−  emerged after them, from the river, þ flÒêÐ−Ôí-öÌô·öÓí−ÑþÎ ìÞÔê³B¥ñÒ¼
 emerged after them, ö flÓí−ÑþÎìÞÔê³B¤ñÒ¼  bad-looking and thin-fleshed, þ¢ÖNÖa³B¤wÔðÐîí£ÓêÐþÔô³B'¼Öþ
 poor, very bad looking and thin-fleshed. þ¢ÖNÖa³B¤wÔþÐîð£ÒêÐôþÔê§Òz³B'¼ÖþÐî³B ¶lÔc  and they stood next to the cows ³B£þÖtÔíñÓ®'ÑêíÖòÐð§ÒôμÞÔzÔî
 I never saw in the entire land of Egypt, óÌ−£ÔþЮÌô±Óþ'Óê-ñÖ×ÐaíÖp§ÑíÖ×−̳−«ÌêÖþ-ê ÞG
 such bad looking [cows.] :Ô¼ ÞÒþÖñ  AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA RASHI  é"ùøAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

 AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA RASHI  é"ùøAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA  [1] It was at the end.  .õÅwÄîéÄäÀéÇå [à]
                    As Onkelos translates it, “At the end.”  ,¹BqÌô :BôebÐþÔ³Ð×
 [15] That you hear a dream so as to interpret it.  .BúÉàøÉzÀôÄì íBìÂçòÇîÀLÄz [åè]
                Every form of the word ±Ñš means “the end.”  :êeí ¹B½ ±Ñš öBLÐññÖ×Ðî
 [Meaning:] you listen and understand a dream  óBñÎìö−ÌëÖ³Ðîö−ÌïÎêÔz
 [enabling you] to interpret it.  :B³Bê þBzÐõÌñ  On the bank of the river.  .øÉàÀéÇäìÇò
                 All other rivers are not referred to as ó−ÌþBêÐ−  ó−ÌþBêÐ−ö−Ì−eþКóÖò−Ñê ³BþÖíÐòþÖêÐLñÖk
 That you hear.  .òÇîÀLÄz
        except for the Nile, because the entire country [Egypt]  ±ÓþÖêÖíñÖkÓL−ÑòÐtÌô ,½eñ−ÌpÌô ±eì
 [¼ÔôÐLÌz] has the meaning of understanding and listening  ,íÖòÖïÎêÔíÐîíÖòÖëÎí öBLÐñ
                   is made up of man-made canals [ó−ÌþBêÐ−]  ,óÖðÖê−Ñð−Ìaó−ÌþBêÐ−óÌ−eNμ
 as in: “That Yoseif listened,” 14  ,¹Ñ½B− Ô¼ÑôBL :BôÐk
               and the Nile overflows into them [the canals]  ,óÖ×B³ÐëíÓñB¼ ½eñ−ÌòÐî
 [or] “Whose language you will not hear [understand]” 15  ,BòBLÐñ¼ÔôÐL̳êGþÓLÎê
                            and fills them with water,  ,óÖ³Bê íÓšÐLÔôe

                  since rain does not fall regularly in Egypt  þ−ÌðÖzóÌ−ÔþЮÌôÐaö−ÌðÐþB− ó−ÌôÖLÐbö−ÑêÓL−ÌõÐñ

                            as [it does] in other lands.  :³B®ÖþÎêþÖêÐLÌk
 This wisdom is not mine, but God will answer.  íÓòμÔ−ó−ÌíGÍêêÖlÓê ,−ÌlÓMÌôíÖôÐ×ÖìÔíö−Ñê

 [Meaning] He will put the answer in my mouth  Z−ÌõÐaí−ÖiÌòμöÑzÌ−
                This is a symbol of the period of abundance  ,¼ÔëBN −Ñô−Ìñ êeí öÖô−̽
 that will be in the best interests of Pharaoh.  :íÒ¼ÐþÔt óBñÐLÌñ
            when people appear fine-looking to one another  ,BïÐñ Bï ³BõÖ− ³BêÐþÌò ³BiÌþÐaÔíÓL
 [19] Poor.  .úBlÇc [èé]
                   because there is no envy among people.  :dÖzÐþÓëÎìÔëíÖþÖ®íÖiÌþÐaö−Ѽö−ÑêÓL
 Meaning lean [thin],  ,³BLeìÐk
                                In the Reed Grass.  .eçÈàÈa
