AESTHETICS AND BEAUTIFICATION COMMITTEE HAS TREE LIGHTING MEETING
With the Christmas holidays just a couple of months away, the East Tampa Community Revitalization Partnership’s Aesthetics and Beau- tification Committee held its first meeting on September 18, 2019, to kick off the 2019 Tree Lighting Ceremony. Denese Meteye-James, chair- person, says the committee is accepting donations to support the 400 draw string bags that Santa will be giving out this year. Since this is a family event, the committee needs more than toys and other supplies for the bag. The committee will accept food certificates, gift cards, holiday food, restaurant coupons, etc. Among those who attended the first meeting were: Lalita Lovett, Meredith Mullen, Keystone Freyalde- nover, Lisa Fikes, Denese Meteye-James, Chair; James Etti (Elijah Etti), and Karen Peoples.
