What’s a buzzin’ cousin? Are you ready to throw on your poo- dle skirts and greaser jackets and dance the night away for a fan- tastic cause? The theme for this year’s event is the “Fantasti- cally Fun Sock Hop,” so get ready to journey back to the 1950’s and don’t forget to take your dancing shoes with you!

Bristol Knights of Columbus Continue Tradition of Giving with Upcoming Fish Fry
The Bristol Knights of Co- lumbus are preparing for yet another anticipated commu- nity event —their excellent Fish Fry, set to take place on Friday, March 7th, from 4:30 PM to 7 PM at the Marian Center on Lake Street. The Fish Fry has become a staple of the commu- nity, drawing residents together for a meal that satisfies appetites and supports a variety of char- itable causes in the Newfound area. They currently host five Fish Fry events every year, with two falling during Lent, one in June, one in August, and the final one of the season during Columbus Day weekend.
The Knights of Columbus, a Catholic fraternal organiza- tion, has long been dedicated to its core principles of Charity, Unity, Fraternity, and Patrio- tism. Since 2018, the Bristol Council has been hosting Fish Fry events to raise funds for its numerous charitable efforts. What began as a small event

using turkey fryers has since grown into a well-coordinated and highly successful tradition, thanks to the dedication of the Knights, volunteers, and local supporters.
“This event is all about bringing people together and supporting those in need,” said Ryan McFarland, Grand Knight of the Bristol Knights of Columbus. “We take great
pride in serving our community and making a real difference.”
