        MAYOR DISCUSSES BUDGET WITH SENTINEL BOARD
Recently, Mayor Jane Castor met with the Sentinel Editorial Board to discuss the City budget of $11 billion for the upcoming fiscal year. Mayor Castor said her vision still includes Affordable Housing and Transportation improve- ments. The proposed budget was presented to City Council on August 1st. She also discussed plans to work with or- ganizations with the re-entry process for former inmates. Among those in attendance at the meeting were from left to right: James Johnson, C. Blythe Andrews, III, Sentinel President, Mrs. Gwendolyn Hayes, Sentinel Editor, Wilbert Malphus, Mayor Jane Castor, and Apostle James Howell.
