2020 was a year of turmoil in the United States. The Covid 19 pandemic, although in remission with the introduction of safe “dis- tancing” and recently approved vaccines, remained a challenge to the country’s economy and cultural life. The official unem- ployment rate was 15%, and this did not include the many idled by the suspension of workplace activities. By year’s end, 300,000 would have died from the pan- demic. Responding to the still persistent health threat, the Cen- ters for Disease Control urged people to stay at home and espe- cially avoid bars, restaurants, and other public places. There were other episodes feeding the tumult. A President was impeached. A young man of color died during an arrest in May. That tragic event led to widespread demon-

Firefighters Battle Flames on Main St, Plymouth
On April 20th, a signifi- cant fire engulfed at least one building in Plymouth leading to the evacuation of a major theater that was hosting a concert. Witnesses observed
flames emanating from The Flying Monkey, a renowned theater and concert venue, as captured in images circulat- ing online. Initially believed to have started within the
venue itself, the fire was later identified to have occurred in a neighboring building, as reported by the Lakes Region Mutual Fire Aid organization. Fortunately, no injuries were
reported from the incident, as confirmed by officials early Saturday morning. The pri- mary damage was sustained by Downtown Pizza, which is
