THE MALVERNIAN
Transform Their World
Spring 2021
In this issue
Dear Parents
It has been extremely good to see pupils return to school, albeit just for the last three weeks of the Spring Term. For these pupils, there was a clear sense of enjoyment of being back, and there is a considerable sense of positivity about a full return at the start of the Summer Term. As you will see from the following pages, our pupils and staff have been busy over the second half of the term, and having pupils back on campus has meant that some of the important school and house events that we feared might be missed for another year have been able to take place. I am also very pleased that both the Pupil Thrive and Staff wellbeing groups have been able to meet and respond to the recent issues raised in the UK media about societal attitudes towards women. I am extremely thankful to the Chapel Prefects and Heads of House who, with the support of the pastoral team, have proactively led a school wide discussion on this important issue.
Please let me wish you a good Easter break.
