           JUNETEENTH TEEN SUMMIT DECLARED SUCCESSFUL EVENT
The COACH Foundation and Tampa’s Best hosted the 6th Annual Juneteenth and Juvenile Summit Celebration on Sat- urday, June 9, 2018. The afternoon event was held at the Charles Davis Conference Center, with several youth organizations and representatives of law enforcement and government agencies. Rev. Willie G. Dixon, CEO and Founder of COACH Foun- dation, said the purpose of the event is to share information on the history and backlash of Juneteenth. Among those who were in attendance were from left: Rev. Dixon, City Councilman Harry Cohen, Superintendent Charles Davis, surprise guest, gubernatorial candidate, Tallahassee Mayor Andrew Gillum; FAMU’s 7th President, Dr. Walter Smith and Bobby Bowden.
