These instructors at George Middleton High School are known as ‘Middleton’s Triple Threat.’ The reason? They’re fight- ing for Excellence in Education. Just this week they were recognized for their dedication to education. From left to right: Dr. Madonna Higgs, a National Board Certified Teacher, who is the Talent Developer and Social Studies Teacher, who received the Ida S. Baker Diversity Educator of the Year Award; Tameca Johnson, Television Production Teacher with more than 30 years experience in Broadcasting and News Management, Middleton’s Teacher of the Year; and Kimberly Johnson, MHS Registrar and veteran School District employee and leader, who was recognized as Instructional Support Employee of the Year.
