My Father-Final Book
P. 1
My Father as I knew him For my Yoga Friends and Family
I am fully aware of my limitations in writing this life sketch of my spiritually realized father. However, being a serious Yoga student from my childhood and due to my association with my father for around 30 years, I feel it appropriate for me to take this challenge. Actually, I have been postponing this writing for many years, but have been extremely encouraged by two of my Yoga students, namely Vanessa Saldanha of Virginia, U.S.A. (Vaneesha) and Teresa Nuvola of Napoli (Kusum), Italy, to start this project sooner, rather than later. Due to documentation in 2014 of the AdhiyogaDarshana, formulated by myself in 1998 (Authentic Yoga System of Neel Kulkarni®, U.S.A.), I feel it is a good time to offer my father’s life portrait to”my Yoga friends and family”.
For the past 40 years of my Yoga study and teaching, I have purposely avoided exposing my father’s Yoga background. Because, I did not want to use his name as advertisement of my Yoga instruction. Though I fully attribute the success of my Yoga work to his blessings alone, I did not wish to use his name as a profitable means for my Yoga classes. However, now I feel it appropriate for me to let my Yoga friends and family know who and what the source of my Yoga knowledge is. This book contains some facts that I am expressing for the first time, to others.
It is not my intention to give the entire biography of my father. I do not know it in entirety. He wrote his own biographical sketch in hardly two pages as a part of his writing about his Guru, Shree Krishnanath Maharaj of Mirajgaon. Mr. Dattatreya Kulkarni, a disciple of Shree Das Kisan
