1 March 2019 - held over
Dear Mr. Begg,
Thank you for your multiple and varied emails and letters most relevantly since 19 January 2019, one of which on 15 February suggesting, one presumes, that my full admission to all charges to date would be both cathartic and lift “an intolerable burden?”
I hope your client received the same advice?
It would still appear from all recent correspondence, leaving aside your most recent “forensic financial & personnel” investigations (ongoing), including your letters and notifications to Com- panies House, Registrar of Companies, and to MHML, Particulars of Claim in the West London County Court and Supplementary Report to City of London Police and to The Insolvency Serv- ice, that we are in an almost identical position as we were following my comprehensive answers to your initial thirteen page letter dated 23 March 2016?
In other words none of my explanations and denials with supporting evidence have sufficed.
I think it’s fair to assume your non “forensic financial & personnel” accusations remain as follows or at least the sensible ones as opposed to those I have referred to previously as “petty” such as blackmail, vote rigging, plagiarism etc which I appreciate you do not consider petty?
1_ MHML claim that during a six hour forty five minute Board Meeting on 23 May 2014 attended by Directors Mrs Hillgarth, Segar Karupiah and Paul Brown-Constable, that a unanimous decision was taken to attempt making savings, anyway possible, from our an- ticipated cheapest contractor’s tender.
Relevant references in support - copies of which are attached:
i) In a letter dated 27 February 2014 our Surveyor supplied the tendered costings which included AR Lawrence for £76,101 excluding vat - (and the cheapest)
ii) to this MHML added 15% (£11,415) to cover our Surveyor’s fees, CDM, misc etc iii) this resulted in a revised budget of £87,516.15 excluding vat
iv) to this MHML added vat @ 20% (£17,503) resulting in a total budget of £105,019 to include vat and fees and published our s.20 Notice dated 22
v) In our Surveyor’s letter dated 13 December 2013 he makes clear “I have included for cleaning the artificial stone surfaces etc etc....I have made this a provisional item at this
